| 簡 介： | Sammamisth Chinese Academy was founded in 1999 to provide Chinese lessons (In Mandarin Chinese) for children aged 4 and up in the Issaquah & Sammamish plateau area. Our curriculum is specially designed to teach children (aged 4 and up) to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese. Chinese culture, Chinese history, Chinese crafts and games are blended with Chinese language instruction. Through many fun- filled activities and Individual instructions, students at SCA learn quickly and effectively. Depending on each individual student and his/her interest, the curriculum can be focused primariIy on speaking, reading or writing Mandarin Chinese. Once student reaches to a comfortable level in speaking, reading or wilting Mandarin Chinese, he/she will be directed toward the next focusing area of his/her interest until he/she masters all three. Students are expected to have weekly homework and two exams (mid-term and final) each quarter. At Sammamish Chinese Academy, we value and respect every student as a precious and unique individual. At Sammamish Chinese Academy, every child learns at his/her own pace and to his/her maximum capacity. Our small class Size ensures that each child gets individual attention and instruction in class. Sammamish Chinese Academy offers two parallel sessions each week (Saturday mornings or Wednesday afternoons) for two quarters (Fall and Winter/Spring quarters) during the academic school year and runs a full-day program In the Summer. |
